Set up in 1998, initially funded by the MRC, UKTMN is now a vibrant network of over 1600 trial managers who play a vital role in the design and delivery of non-commercial, academic-led clinical trials in the UK. UKTMN is funded by the Nuffield Department of Population Health at the University of Oxford, and hosted by the Nottingham Clinical Trials Unit, at the University of Nottingham.

On November 9th, we celebrated 25 years of UKTMN. Individuals who play a leading role in UK clinical research and UKTMN supporters gathered with UKTMN members in Nottingham for a half-day programme of short talks reflecting on the past and looking to the future, followed by a buffet lunch and drinks reception.
