Lynda is currently a Senior Trial Manager at the Centre for Healthcare Randomised Trials (CHaRT) CTU at the University of Aberdeen. Lynda oversees a portfolio of clinical trials, specialising in surgery and complex interventions. Prior to trial management, Lynda gained a PhD in molecular biology and worked in lab-based research, mainly focussing on cancer research. Lynda is passionate about professional development and career progression for trial managers and currently presents on the ‘How to be a good trial manager’ course through the UKTMN. Lynda’s interests also lie with new trials methodology, recruitment and retention.
