This webinar will be presented by Kerry Hood on behalf of the MRC Hubs for Trials Methodology Research.

With the current policy drive to extend evaluation research into social care and recognising the interconnectivity of health and social care, this webinar will explore the challenges this may raise from a methodological perspective and discuss how we might build on the trial methodology work in health to deliver the highest quality social care evaluations.

It will use examples from our work on evaluation with children, families, people with a learning disability and elderly in care homes to pose questions for us to think about for the future.  There will be an opportunity for discussion around how this is best built into the future direction of the Trial Methodology Research Partnership, recognising that not all evaluations will be trials.
