We're delighted to announce that the application window for the UKTMN ASPIRE Leadership programme will be open soon!

What is ASPIRE?

ASPIRE is the UK’s first leadership programme for trial managers, which is available exclusively for UKTMN members.

ASPIRE has been created to provide trial management professionals with important leadership skills for now and the future. Unlike institutional leadership programmes, ASPIRE has been developed by trial managers, for trial managers, with a unique focus on the specific aspects of leadership that trial managers need support with. An important part of UKTMN’s mission is to also provide a forum for trial managers to network, share expertise and learn from each other. ASPIRE will provide an opportunity for members to share their leadership journey with others, as part of their leadership cohort, and for you to build networks across the UK.

We are working with a highly experienced executive coach, Nick Robinson, who will deliver the programme using various teaching and learning techniques including coaching, application of frameworks, action learning, breakout tasks and role play. Nick has worked with the UKTMN professional development group to understand the unique challenges faced by trial managers and to make sure content is created with trial managers in mind. ASPIRE aims to take you out of your comfort zone for you to grow as part of your leadership development.

The 6-month hybrid programme includes face-to-face and online sessions. The programme cohort will also have access to an online platform which can be used in between sessions for support, sharing experiences and ongoing networking.

Who is the programme for?

ASPIRE is for experienced trial management professionals who wish to develop their leadership skills. There is no requirement for having worked in a trial management role for a specific number of years of experience required but the programme is most suitable for those with substantial trial management experience.

How can I attend ASPIRE?
