We invite members to give a rapid presentation on the way in which they have adapted or made changes to their trials or working practices due to the impact of COVID-19. The topic can be anything; from the way data is collected and handled, the way the intervention is delivered, to the way in which the trial is managed at sites to reduce the burden to site staff. You could include what you have changed, how you made the change or how this has affected the trial or the trial team. Around 14 members will be chosen to present their work in this virtual event. Each presenter will be given a 5-minute slot to present a maximum of two slides in 3 minutes, with an additional 2 minutes for questions.
We hope the event will provide members with a broad overview of the ways in which trials could be adapted and managed to reduce the impact of COVID-19 and is a great way to network with fellow trial managers, share ideas and experiences.
If you would like the opportunity to present at this event, please complete the short survey, giving some brief details about what you would like to present. If we receive abstracts of a similar ilk, or more than around 14, then we will aim to host another event in the near future. We want to give as many people an opportunity to present their ideas as possible! All members are encouraged to consider submitting their work, but we particularly encourage less experienced trial management staff who may particularly benefit from having the opportunity to give a short presentation at a national level.
