MRC Hubs for Trials Methodology Research – Trial Conduct Working Group webinar
Triggered or routine site monitoring visits for randomised controlled trials? Results of TEMPER, a prospective, matched-pair study

William Cragg (Research Associate in Trial Conduct Methodology, MRC Clinical Trials Unit at UCL)

Summary
Risk-based approaches are increasingly recommended in monitoring randomised controlled trials, but there is a lack of evidence to support best practice. The TEMPER study has evaluated one possible risk-based method, whereby sites are prioritised for monitoring visits based on central monitoring findings. In this webinar, we present the study results and discuss implications and possible future developments.

If you wish to attend this 30-40 minute lunchtime webinar you will first have to follow this link to pre-register.
