The course is split into two parts and attendees can opt to attend the introductory or advanced course or both. The introductory course covers ethics, recruitment, piloting, design, reporting, prin-ciples of health economics, monitoring and pro-cess evaluations with introductions to analysis and sample size calculations. The advanced course covers systematic reviews, health economic analy-sis and statistical aspects in more detail including, for example, a session on stepped wedge designs.
This course is based on the book 'A Practical Guide to Cluster Randomised Trials in Health Ser-vices Research' by Sandra Eldridge and Sally Ker-ry but incorporates developments in methodology since the book was written.

Places are strictly limited to 25.
